Join in
Does your foundation also manage a back alley with a gate? Then you can join — if you want, and on your own terms.
What you get
- Your own gate, your own keys: each foundation has its own unit at its gate and decides who may enter. Nobody from outside can open your gate.
- A shared neighbourhood network: the radios in the homes form one network together. The more streets join, the better the coverage and the stronger the safety net in an outage.
- Open technology and a build guide: everything is documented publicly, so you can adopt it yourself or with help.
- Shared knowledge: experience with installation, management and maintenance is shared between the foundations.
Start small. You can first join only the neighbourhood network (a radio at home), and connect your gate later.
How
Contact the board of the Stichting Beheer Rijstrook Rietvaart VI at sbrr-vi@rhebergen.net. We are happy to show the demo and think along about your situation.
